Hi, I'm Walter

I am a passionate marine scientist studying the impact of climate change on corals and developing non-invasive techniques to assess coral health. As a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Researcher, I continue my quest to unravel the underwater mysteries and actively engage in science communication to foster ocean literacy.

Research

My main scientific interests are related to the physiological responses of marine organisms to anthropogenic activities and climate change, with a particular focus on using innovative underwater technologies and non-invasive methodology.

Publications

You can find an updated list on Google Scholar, Scopus, and ResearchGate. Please don't hesitate to contact me!

Outreach

When I am not either underwater or in the laboratory, I like to share my time joining public events, primary and secondary school activities, and participating in cultural events to help to raise marine awareness.
